Our Experience
Hawkins Lawn and Land is owned and operated by Matt Hawkins, who, for the better part of a decade, worked as Grounds Manager of Fort Lee/Fort Gregg-Adams. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and quality work by conducting a thorough assessment of your property and developing a plan that meets your specific needs. We are insured and ready to assist anyone with their lawn and land maintenance.

Our Work
At Hawkins Lawn and Land, we offer a wide range of trimming services including:

We maintain lawns including grass cutting, mulch, seeding, aerating, and application of fertilizer and herbicide. We feature a 21 foot boom mower/bush hog which articulates in the air for tree and road trimming, and then below grade for ponds and ditches. This includes standard bush hogging of pastures and fields. We offer both mechanical and manual work.
Our Mission
Why is land maintenance important?
- Clearing ponds and dams helps reduce hiding places for snakes and other dangerous predators, allows for easier access to ponds, and a better, safer, recreational experience
- Expanding driveways and hunting trails allows for greater visibility and fewer vehicle scratches
- Pushing back tree lines regains lost acreage for planting which can lead to greater yield and allowing more light to reach crops
